  • Project Details:

A $2.44 million addition was a 6,020-square foot addition and interior renovation for a new emergency department. The EMS dock included decontamination, triage and sub waiting rooms. A new public entrance was created to lead to the new reception desk, lobby, separate waiting areas, admissions offices, radiology, ultrasound, and specialty eye clinic. The addition also provided a separate mechanical unit for the existing operating room to meet the strin¬gent mechanical code requirements. The new operating room ductwork threaded through existing structure to minimize the time the operating room would be out of service. Physical and occupational therapy suites were expanded and renovated.

The hospital needed a permanent interior CT suite in lieu of a mobile CT unit. The new CT suite includes an ultrasound room and was created by combining underutilized spaces. New equipment foundations were hand dug in the level below the new CT equipment. The renovation area is 600 square feet.
