TLM was hired to renovate a historic building in downtown Selmer, TN to serve as the Visitor Center for McNairy County, TN. The renovation included window replacements, exterior renovations, parking lot enhancements, ADA compliance at entryways, full interior renovation, HVAC and electrical upgrades, roof replacement and landscaping.
The LATTA building was originally built as a Ford dealership in the early 1930s. The rear of the building was a full working shop where vehicle servicing took place. An assembly area renovation was the primary focus of this project. Our design and engineering converted the old maintenance shop into a theater. The theater has a stage with curtains, a full audio/video commercial system complete with a sound mixing board, theater lighting, and acoustics. Much of the shop maintenance materials were retained and used as part of the final finished look.
