  • Project Details:

Jackson Transit Authority commissioned TLM Associates, Inc. to design and engineer a new maintenance and operations center to replace the old, outdated shop that was currently in existence. The programming and design phase began in 2009.

TLM incorporated on-site design elements, such as retention ponds, to control storm water run-off. The building was also designed to minimize the use of electric lighting by incorporating natural daylight. These design elements also provide natural warming of the shop area in the winter months. Post-construction, utility bills have proven this building to be very energy efficient.
