TLM Associates, Inc. was selected by the City of Parsons to design a municipal building to house several of the departments of city government, as well as community organizations and services. The Parsons Municipal Building complex is 21,500 square feet and was completed in 2006. Located within one portion of the complex is the City Maintenance and Utility District, Police Department and Fire Department. Offices are centered at the main entrance to the building for the City Mayor, City Recorder, billing offices and the City Planning Department.

A community meeting room that accommodates up to 125 people is used for town events, commission meetings, etc. Adjacent to the meeting room is a catering kitchen for full service events. Unique to this facility is the inclusion of the City Public Library and a town museum. Local heritage displays are placed throughout the museum and library space and is often used for community events.
