TLM Associates was responsible for the project design from conception to the completion of construction. TLM worked with the City of Parsons to develop a master plan and video presentation of the repurposing plan. TLM assisted with the LPRF grant application in 2014 to help secure funding for the first phase. TLM completed all aspects of the design including architecture, civil, mechanical and structural engineering. TLM provided construction administration and construction inspection for the project. The Parsons Regional Community Parked opened in the Fall of 2015 with two little league/softball fields and a new concessions and restroom building. The new park facility was constructed on the former Scott-Gibson Airfield. The airfield closed in 2006 and was left abandoned for 9 years. The City of Parsons applied for funds in 2014 to repurpose the land into a new parks and recreational facility, and this project represents the first phase of a long-term plan to develop the property.
