TLM was selected by the Tennessee Board of Regents to provide design services for the interior renovation of the JSCC Student Center. The 23,937-square foot facility houses several different student service offices that were inefficiently arranged, making it difficult for students to navigate. A “One Stop Shop” concept was designed for all student services to be located in one administrative suite accessed by one front desk location.
The project was completed over two phases and included a completely new HVAC system, fire suppression system, electrical system, new administration offices, new student quick-serve cafe, security offices, foundation board room and student government offices. The newly remodeled facility has become a favorite on campus. The campus was so pleased with the interior finishes selected that they have established new campus standards were established based on the materials used in the renovation.
