TLM partnered with West Tennessee Healthcare to plan and design a new series of medical clinics serving rural communities in West Tennessee. These facilities provide essential healthcare access in areas that no longer have a local hospital, ensuring residents can receive timely care close to home. The first two locations were developed in Trenton and Lexington, creating modern healthcare hubs designed to serve patients, providers, and the surrounding communities.

These clinics were designed to support urgent care services, rehabilitation, and pharmacy operations within a single integrated facility. The layout allows multiple healthcare providers to operate efficiently while maintaining clear patient circulation and convenient access to services.

The Trenton and Lexington medical centers were developed to improve access to healthcare in rural West Tennessee. By providing modern outpatient facilities in communities that previously lost local hospital services, the clinics help reduce travel time for patients while expanding healthcare availability throughout the region.

Each facility was designed to support efficient patient flow, accessible entrances, and flexible medical spaces that can adapt as healthcare needs evolve.

The design approach emphasizes warmth and comfort, creating an environment that feels welcoming rather than clinical. Natural materials such as cedar siding, natural stone, and warm finishes help create a modern rustic atmosphere throughout the buildings.

Inside the facilities, features such as slate flooring and custom wood focal elements contribute to a calming environment for patients and visitors. The overall goal was to create spaces where patients feel comfortable and supported during their visit.

Through careful planning and collaboration with West Tennessee Healthcare, TLM delivered facilities that balance functionality, patient comfort, and long-term adaptability. These clinics serve as an important healthcare resource for rural communities while demonstrating how thoughtful design can improve access to care and strengthen regional healthcare infrastructure.
