Toyota Boshoku Corporation and DENSO Corporation (TBDN) has been manufacturing products for the automotive industry in Jackson, Tennessee, since 1990, including air induction systems, intake manifolds, air filter elements, cabin air filters and oil filters. To expand their stamping process at the B4 product line, TLM designed modifications to the existing crane system to increase the capacity and extend the length of the crane runway.

The retrofit design addressed strengthening the steel structural supports, along with the foundation, to resist all forces introduced from the crane expansion. Additionally, the supplementary floor-mounted columns were strategically placed to avoid conflict with the plant’s production process.
