A greenway connecting Martin, Tennessee. 

The Brian Brown Memorial Greenway was first envisioned by Brian Brown, the late director of University of Tennessee at Martin’s Campus Recreation Program, who saw the need for a multi-purpose trail in and around the City of Martin and the UTM campus. The Brian Brown Memorial Greenway project included the construction of approximately 6500 linear feet of 8-ft wide greenway through UT Martin property and connecting the campus to the downtown Martin area. The greenway included the installation a 92-ft pedestrian bridge, landscaping and tree plantings and the placement of benches throughout the trail. TLM assisted with the acquisition of a grant through the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Phase two of the project is underway and will connect downtown Martin with the University of Tennessee at Martin.
